Arsenal, Liverpool, and other top clubs are vying to sign Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.
Arsenal are reportedly close to securing the deal for 55 million euros, offering the 22-year-old a contract until 2029 with a 3.5 million euros annual salary.
Liverpool also showed interest but had their 47 million euros bid rejected. Other clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen, PSG, Real Madrid, and Chelsea, are also interested.
Bologna, who bought Calafiori for 4 million euros, are now considering replacements like Jaka Bijol, Leonardo Balerdi, and Marin Pongracic.
