How to apply for a Branch loan in Kenya

On the loans page, you’ll find various loan limits available. For first-time borrowers, the initial loan limit is set at Ksh 1000, although you have the option to select lower amounts such as Ksh 250 or Ksh 500.

Next, choose the loan repayment terms that suit your preferences. By default, the loan repayment period for the Ksh 1000 loan is four weekly repayments. However, you can opt for a one-month repayment period by selecting it from the drop-down menu.

After selecting your preferred repayment terms, click on the “Request This Loan” button located at the bottom of the page.

A new page will open, prompting you to double-check your mobile money account details. Once you’ve verified your account information, click on “Apply” to submit your application for review.

For first-time borrowers, Branch will assess and analyze your account. It may take a few hours to receive feedback from Branch regarding your loan application. You’ll be notified via SMS regarding the status of your application. If your credit is approved, log back into the app to view your payment schedule.

In the event that your application is not accepted, Branch will provide a reason for rejecting your loan application.
